Niagara Mohawk

Niagara Mohawk in the 1950sBefore all the power companies were simply renamed National Grid the different NGUSA subsidiary companies had their own names. The power company supplying New York State was called Niagara Mohawk.

This section is based on a Niagara Mohawk System book written in the 1950s called, Niagara Mohawk – The People and the Land It Serves. It is full of interesting insights into New York’s past, with some nostalgic emotions attached for anyone who remembers this period, the Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation or has an interest in the power systems of New York State.
