Welcome

Welcome Aboard your CIRCLE LINE cruise yacht...

We sail around an island quite unlike any in the world, the fabulous island of Manhattan.

Almost everybody knows something about New York but the fact that the City is almost entirely situated on islands is little known. Manhattan, commonly called "New York," is only one of five boroughs which comprise New York City, four of which, including Manhattan, are islands or are part of an island.

The Circle Line yacht sails completely around Manhattan Island. First, heading south on the Hudson River which separates Manhattan from the state of New Jersey, the yacht approaches the Statue of Liberty in the Upper New York Harbor at which point the borough of Richmond (Staten Island) can be seen in the distance. The yacht then rounds the tip of Manhattan Island, leaves the upper New York bay and sails northward on the East River, passing the boroughs of Brooklyn and Queens, both located on the western end of Long Island. The trip continues along the Harlem River, skirting the last of the five boroughs, the Bronx, the only borough on the mainland. Through the Harlem Canal at Spuyten Duyvil, the Circle Line yacht returns to the historic Hudson, sailing south on the final lap of our cruise covering 35 miles around the fabulous island of Manhattan.
