The New York City Passenger Ship Terminal was completed in 1974 by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey for New York City. Stretching from 46th to 54th Street, the six berth terminal provides the world's most modern passenger ship facility for the great liners which visit the Port.

The 3 level terminal features a complete off-street roadway system, roof-top parking for 1,000 vehicles, attractive visitor and passenger lounges, improved customs and baggage handling procedures and a year round temperature controlled interior.

The photo above in which 7 of the world's great passenger ships are berthed simultaneously, is representative of what can be seen on many Saturdays during summer.
