Lower Manhattan

Rounding the tip of Manhattan after having seen the Statue of Liberty, the Circle Line yacht gives her passengers a completely new view of lower Manhattan. The famous skyline known to so many millions of arriving ship passengers has been completely changed. The once-outstanding Woolworth Building tower, for decades the world's tallest building, is virtually hidden behind huge new-style block buildings rising like square monoliths and themselves dominated and almost thrown off balance by the two 110-story World Trade Center towers.
